When it comes to hydrating the world’s top athletes and those who aspire to follow in their footsteps, nothing beats the world’s number one sports drink, Gatorade.

This message is succinctly captured in the sports drink leader’s latest TV Commercial featuring local sports stars Alyssa Valdez of the Ateneo Lady Eagles and Gilas Pilipinas point guard Terrence Romeo who star alongside international sports icons Usain Bolt and Serena Williams.

“As the number one sports drink on the planet, and in the Philippines, it is our duty to spread the word of proper hydration to athletes all over the country,” Pepsico Philippines Marketing Manager for Hydration Tony Atayde said. “Proper hydration is our advocacy and our commitment. It is a building block that Gatorade was built on. More than anything else, our latest commercial is a reminder to everyone that to perform your best, absolutely nothing beats Gatorade.”

Gatorade’s latest TVC debuted in time for the round two of the highly anticipated UAAP Season 78 Women’s Volleyball match-up between the Ateneo Lady Eagles and the DLSU Lady Spikers where the defending champions from Katipunan avenged their first round loss to the latter. We all known Kevin Durant play all around from offense to defense even on clutch time. He scores and lead OKC with his hot shooting and show’s dribbling skills on the hardcourt. The KD 8 Elite is another innovation specially for he’s stretch run’s during a fastbreak.

Created in collaboration with designer Leo Chang, the breakthrough basketball shoe features a calf-length compression sock, full-length visible Nike Zoom Air cushioning and Flywire technology with Kevlar® aramid fiber. Strategically placed non-stretch woven materials ensure a snug, secure fit while foam provides protection and comfort.

“Transitioning from a low to high is a decision we made with confidence based on our ongoing feedback from Durant to always push the limit on innovative design,” says Chang.

“The KD8 Elite is conceptually designed to blur the lines between the shoe, sock and tight; seamlessly transitioning between each so you can’t differentiate where one begins and the other ends.”
